Drawn to the arts since childhood, I've enjoyed a 20+ year career as an in-house designer and brand steward.
I love that graphic design has the power to promote, inspire, sell, solve problems, direct, delight, simplify and most importantly, humanize. And I am highly experienced in creating effective design solutions that put those powers to work for businesses and consumers.
From establishing the first in-house creative department for a leading, family-owned store fixture manufacturing company as a recent grad of Auburn University’s visual communications program to acting as lead designer in the conversion of countless digital and marketing assets for a Fortune 500 healthcare company following a $25 million dollar rebrand, I have continually prioritized customer service, effectively met or exceeded company and personal goals and objectives, embraced learning new skills, developed strong relationships with incredible coworkers and continue to learn a great deal about myself along the way.
With a strong foundation in fine arts and art history, my passion for print design has never wavered despite changing trends, but I have relished growing my digital design skills and exploring the latest applications. Recently, I earned a Multimedia Arts Certificate from Sessions College to expand my skills in web design, HTML/CSS, motion graphics and video editing and production.
When not designing, I enjoy time with family, going out with friends, checking out another “must read” or “must watch” suggestion, cheering on the Auburn Tigers and recharging outdoors (okay, maybe not so much during Alabama summers). I thrive on experiencing new places and things and last, but by no means least, I live for live music!
